Happy to be part of another Thankful Thursday  and receiving another pretty Leibster award.  I would like to acknowledge Laughter brother for this award for presenting me with this recognition ,that too when I  had just started my blogging journey. 

About my blogging journey

I think I started blogging at the right time,  at the time when I was making a new beginning in my life. Well by chance I  had tripped upon my little sister’s blog.  Having read that I realized that she is a totally a different person from what I perceived her as. She definitely sounded interesting to me .It tempted me to tell my story as well which is how I wrote my  very first blog as well.

After that I started writing about the books that I was reading, for my personal satisfaction. It was many weeks later that I realized the mechanisms of the Daily Post and finally a way of having my blogs read by others and not only that I even got an exciting chance to read up on other interesting blogs. After that there has been no looking back.

Blogging is also a nice way of meeting some smart and intelligent people. Blogging , today in my life brings me utmost personal satisfaction and even helped me in evolving as a person. Today there are moments in my life when I frequently tell myself. ‘I have to blog this thing,’ whenever I come across something that catches my fancy. I cannot imagine myself without blogging anymore and have dreams unlimited as far as it is concerned!

My Advice to Fellow Bloggers

Although from whatever I have seen of the bloggers here .I  really do not think my advice is needed but this award calls for it so anyways here goes :

1. Be True to yourself – Write about something that defines you.Being a copy can not take anyone too far. You will struggle for inspiration. If you are original only then can you go far.

2. Read-I will keep saying ,one cannot write well if they do not read. Reading inspires.

3. Keep writing about what makes you happy. Popularity and quality are not always directly proportional. Its good if you are appreciated but even if you are not , Keep writing!

4. Having said that, I will add ‘Content is King’. Their is no substitute for good content. When your content is good , their is little else that you have to worry about. When you are good, you will be liked.

5. Although I came into the world of blogging owing to someone ,it cannot be a reason  enough to remain a blogger. We can only do justice to something we are passionate about,  their are so many bloggers who simply vanish or lose interest in the middle.

6. Sometimes loneliness and isolation can be great triggers for us to pen down our thoughts.

7. I t is also important to read other blogs to contribute to the blogosphere. Being extremely busy I set aside one day of the week for reading blogs , namely Thursday.

8. Going by a lot of successful bloggers, Networking as a skill can also help to give your blogs greater readability. This is something I plan to acquire some skills in.
